About Us
The Police Control Room oversees and coordinates the activities of the police department across the district. It connects all police stations and maintains constant communication with them. It also serves as a liaison between field staff and controlling authorities at all levels.
The Control Room ensures the effective implementation of law and order. During critical situations, and in the absence of senior officers or the unit commander, the Control Room Officer is responsible for making decisions, issuing directives, dispatching forces, and promptly informing the unit commander, senior officers, and the Director General of the Control Room about significant developments.
In cases of law and order disturbances, accidents, or territorial threats, citizens can contact the Control Room through the emergency helpline 100. Upon receiving information, the Control Room takes immediate action, including dispatching forces if necessary, to maintain order. To enhance public safety, PCR mobile vans continuously patrol the city.
