About Us

As per the guidelines and orders of the Director General of Police, the Crime and Criminal Tracking and Network System (CCTNS) has been implemented in Latur District. All police stations have updated their FIR-related databases online as part of this initiative.

A Role-Based Training program has been conducted, and 90% of police personnel have been trained. The system integrator, Wipro, has appointed a technical support person at the police station level to ensure smooth functioning. Latur has been flagged as a district for the compliance of work related to the CCTNS Project, and ADDL. D.G. C.I.D. PUNE has rewarded the district for its outstanding contribution to the project.

The CCTNS Project has gone live in 31 police stations, 6 SDPO offices, S.P. office, 2 ADL. S.P. offices, and 1 control room, totaling 42 locations in Latur District.

All police officers and personnel have been properly trained and provided with user IDs and passwords for the effective use of the CCTNS CAS software.

All entries, such as FIRs, missing persons, dead bodies, arrested persons, criminals, etc., are entered online at the police station level in CCTNS CAS. The CCTNS project is a centralized initiative of the central government, and all data entered will assist in criminal investigations across India.
